Everybody was Disco Dancing

After seeing the the Germans conceded two early goals against Japan.

I think I might be changing my team already!

I also think Beckham and Terry may be included, but not crouch with that awful
dancing.

Whatever next some body popping and breakdancing by Owen!

Thats if he can regain his form.

And The Winner Is

My team finished at 9th, A poor season for me as last year I finished 2nd.

The winner was Dave knowles with 1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thankyou. The liverpool fan made his team similar to Jason’s for the final. It paid off and the cash is his.

Jason Lee was 2nd with Outsource IT and well done to Richard Maxwell for taking 3rd spot mainly due To Martin ‘Carp’ Seward going for it by putting West Ham players.

Sunny finished at 16th!

I think it was fitting that Rob Prentice got the highest score of the week with 54 points as he organised this so well done rob and I know that even though he supports spurs he will approve of the following statement:

Come on Arsenal!

The final top 10 looks like this

1)1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you (46 this week) Total = 1718
2)Outsource IT Direct (38 this week) Total = 1709
3)Mint tea (46 this week) Total = 1696
4)Carpball 30lber’s (10 this week) Total = 1663
5)Hannahs Heroes FC (26 This Week) Total = 1654
6)The All England Hula-hoop (18 this week) Total = 1629
7)Bozzies Babes (39 this week) Total = 1623
8)Too good to go down (34 this week) Total = 1585
9)The daddy long leg clarets (11 this week) Total = 1576
10)TBU (19 this week) Total = 1574

MOTM for 13th May 2006

The man of the match in the FA Cup final on 13th may 2006 was

Liverpool V Westham - S Gerrard (liverpool)

well who else could it be!

Monday Monday

Well done to liverpool for winning the FA Cup, So many points up for grabs as goalkeepers made saves and people missed penalties. Third place might be up for grabs.

I will be printing the final table on Wednesday but I think we can all guess that the Man of the match award will be Steven Gerrard.

Also here's a fact that I didnot know. Name the team which has produced more England Internationals then any other?

Webby Awards

According to the 2006 Webby awards the best website for sport is

http://www.espn.com/

I've added a link to it on the side and after checking out the site myself I went to the soccer section. This took me to:

this site looked really good so I've added it too!

The Final Countdown

Lets have a look at the teams for the final showdown.

This includes all subs so the teams look really close, but there are a couple of differences. Highlighted in Red of players in the FA Cup final.

Dave knowles team 1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thankyou.

Goalkeeper J Reina LIV 3.3
Defender JA Riise LIV 4.1
Defender S Hyypia LIV 3.7
Defender S Finnan LIV 3.5
Defender J Carragher LIV 4.0
Midfielder S Gerrard LIV 4.5
Midfielder X Alonso LIV 3.9
Midfielder N Reo-Coker WHM 2.9
Midfielder / Striker H Kewell LIV 3.5
Striker M Harewood WHM 4.2
Striker D Cisse LIV 6.4

Jason Lee's team Outsource IT direct.

Goalkeeper J Reina LIV 3.3
Defender JA Riise LIV 4.1
Defender J Carragher LIV 4.0
Defender S Hyypia LIV 3.7
Defender S Finnan LIV 3.5
Midfielder S Gerrard LIV 4.5
Midfielder X Alonso LIV 3.9
Midfielder N Reo-Coker WHM 2.9
Midfielder / Striker T Henry ARS 9
Striker E Adebayor ARS 4.8
Striker M Harewood WHM 4.2

It really is going to the last game of the season! But points can be lost aswell as gained, missing penalties and bookings can bring negative points. With only 1 point in it it can still be either one of these two teams

Well done lads for a great battle! Sorry to Sunny for not printing his team but at 16th place I dont think he is going to do it!

All Roads Lead to Cardiff

It's getting closer and there is a change at the top. It really is going to go to the last game of the season. The Fa Cup final between liverpool and Westham (Thats if any of the fans can get their tickets)

My team is now at 8th, I cant see myself going any higher so I’ll have to be happy with what I’ve got.

With 19 points separating 3rd from 1st.

1 points from 2nd to 1st.

18 points from 2nd to 3rd.

But between 3rd and 4th there are just 3 points

Dave Knowles retakes the lead by 1 point and I think its safe to say it is a fight for 1st place between Jason Lee and Dave Knowles.

Jason has no subs left but Dave has 4 subs to use, Can he hold on to the lead?

By they way Sunny is up to 16th!

Next season I'll be getting the winners and losers to give their top tips (if you can be bothered to read them!) The Carp master has already been signed because of his end of season flourish.

The top 10 looks like this

1)1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you (60 this week) Total = 1672
2)Outsource IT Direct (57 this week) Total = 1671
3)Carpball 30lber’s (65 this week) Total = 1653
4)Mint tea (60 this week) Total = 1650
5)Hannahs Heroes FC (33 This Week) Total = 1628
6)The All England Hula-hoop (19 this week) Total = 1611
7)Bozzies Babes (52 this week) Total = 1584
8)The daddy long leg clarets (57 this week) Total = 1565
9)TBU (50 this week) Total = 1555
10)Too good to go down (55 this week) Total = 1551

Redknapp On Theo

Heard a lot of stuff about Theo Walcott being included in the England squad.
These quotes were sent to me by Jason lee. I think Harry Rednapp knows him more than most other pundits.

"I was a little surprised to see him included but the lad is a real talent," said Redknapp. "He has so much ability and his pace is frightening. He is quicker than anyone else I have seen.

"Seriously, the boy glides over the park. If he walked across a puddle, he wouldn't make a splash.

"He can run with the ball at tremendous speed and that can really hurt defences. Give him a bit of space and he will kill you.

And now the end is even nearer

Special report as the end is coming up.

My team is now at joint 9th, I take comfort in the fact I am still doing it my way! Ok you try and come up with new jokes all the time!

This review does not take into account last nights Arsenal game but I can tell you now that
There will be more changes around the top 5 and depending on Liverpool or Arsenal keeping a clean sheet .

With 26 points separating 3rd from 1st.

10 points from 2nd to 1st.

16 points from 2nd to 3rd.

But between 3rd and 6th there are just 5 points.

It looks like it is still just be a fight for 1st place between Jason Lee and Dave Knowles but there is Martin coming up fast behind them. Can he do it?

Just as I thought people are starting to put in players for the facup final. Having West Ham players might give you an edge. Looks like most people are going for liverpool players. Who would have thought that!

I think it will go down to the final.

Sunny is still at 17th!

The top 10 looks like this

1)Outsource IT Direct (9 this week) Total = 1623
2)1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you (1 this week) Total = 1613
3)Hannahs Heroes FC (2 This Week) Total = 1597
4)Carpball 30lber’s (9 this week) Total = 1597
5)The All England Hula-hoop (2 this week) Total = 1594

7)Bozzies Babes (5 this week) Total = 1537
8)Ken Dodds dads dogs dead ( 5 this week) Total = 1529

And now the end is near

My team is still at 10th, I take comfort in the fact I did it my way! Ok no more jokes!

A week is a long time in Fantasy football, and the top three has never been closer
With just 19 points separating 3rd from 1st.

Only 2 points from 2nd to 1st.

And 17 points from 2nd to 3rd.

But between 3rd and 6th there are just 7 points!
It may still just be a fight for 1st place between Jason Lee and Dave Knowles.

Important point game Man City v Arsenal tonight.

I expect to see quite a few subs and people starting to copy other teams so they cant be gained on. The secret will be having different players and hope they perform like Chelsea against Man U and not like they played against Blackburn!

I think it will go down to the final.

I feel sad for Rooney after watching the Maradona Lineker interview the world cup will not be the same if he does not make it for the quarter finals (assuming England get that far).

Sunny is at 17th come on Mate one final push for glory!

The top 10 looks like this:

1)Outsource IT Direct (42 this week) Total = 1614
2)1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you (60 this week) Total = 1612
