Happy Christmas
Have a great Christmas and over the holidays, in between drinking and eating, I will try my best to keep the blog updated.
More updates next year about the 2006 World Cup and the African Nations Cup.
Remember this blog will contain all the man of the match,
Passwords and assists for the Telegraph Fantasy Football Game.
Hope you find it useful and keep supporting this blog.
Thanks

Unlucky 13
Another week and another disappointing set of results, Jason Lee and myself are realising that Henry instead of scoring loads of goals has decided to just walk about a lot. All I want for xmas is a Henry Hat-trick.
Watch for lots of subs at the end of December because Liverpool have to play a few games then.
Good score by Mike Bosley of 71 this week to take him into 12th and just over taking me.
A lot better then the 1 point he scoredabout 6 weeks ago.
As Sunny has jumped up to 11th I thought I would include him againin the write up. Well done Sunny you are back.
Well done to Dave Knowles and his team extending their lead at the top.
However the top 5 should be looking over their shoulders as Mark Parrish, winner from last year, moves to 7th. With all the games played over the Xmas period there will be a lot of changes at the top.
Top 10 is as follows
1) 1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thankyou (76 this week) 739
2) The All England Hula-Hoop Team (66 this week) 724
3) Broxy Blues (56 this week) 700
4) Outsource IT Direct (34 this week) 697
5) Mint Tea (33 this week) 678

The Only Way Is Down
My team is hanging on to the top ten place. Wont be after last nights results are added on Friday, I forgot to put Rooney in my team and of course he scores 2 and is man of the match again. Drastic changes are needed, so watch this space.
Richard Maxwell (Mint Tea) takes advantage of Liverpool’s clean sheet and Gerrards MOTM again by getting an impressive 57 points and moves to number 4.
Dave Knowles with ‘1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you’ is joint top with Jason Lee however with last night’s game he will take the top spot.
Mike ‘King of Print Problems’ Calverley moves to Number 7, very impressive as he does not have Rooney in his team.
The top 10 looks like this and as an incentive to me I’ll only publish the top ten and my own position so on Friday by my calculation I’ll be number 12.
1) Outsource IT Direct (31 this week) Total = 663
2) 1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you (42 this week) Total = 663
3) The All England Hula-hoop (56 this week) Total = 658
4) Mint tea (57 this week) Total = 645

And Then There Were 10!
My team has dropped out of the top 5. It’s now joint 6 with Mark Fowlers Stay Up Pompey, lets hope he’s right!
The reasons why this has happened include not having Rooney (the man of the match monster), my frontline of Henry and Drogba not scoring and other managers being better than me!
Therefore this week Instead of the top 5 I’m showing the top 10 and before you ask the answer is yes! If I keep on dropping down the table the list will keep on getting bigger and bigger!
Richard Maxwell (Mint Tea) takes advantage of Liverpool’s two clean sheets and Gerrards MOTM by getting an impressive 90 points and takes number 5.
Dave Knowles with ‘1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you’ takes more points of Jason lee whose lead is cut to 11 points.
Both Richard and Dave have not used many subs so they are two teams to watch.
Last years winner Mark Parrish with Skidmans Allstars moves into 9th, last year he took the lead at Xmas so watch this space.
Sunny will be pleased as he makes it onto the blog just because a top 6 table looks stupid and he makes me feel good because I still beat him by 1 point!
The top 10 looks like this
1) Outsource IT Direct (52 this week) Total = 632
2) 1977,1978,1981,1984 & 2005 Thank you (70 this week) Total = 621
3) Broxy blues (59 this week) Total = 603
4) The All England Hula-hoop (56 this week) Total = 602
5) Mint tea (90 this week) Total = 588
6) The Daddy Long Leg Clarets (32 this week) Total = 580
6) Stay Up Pompey (59 this week) Total = 580
8) Flying Monkey III – Curse of the WereMonkey (48 this week) Total = 562
9) Skidman’s Allstars (49 this week) Total = 561
10) Mistry’s Confused XI (31 this week) Total = 560
